The forced marriage of an 8 year-old girl to a 28-year old man in Yemen was terminated through a court order because the girl had not yet reached puberty.
Despite the horrifically immoral and disgusting fact that she's only 8-year old, the girl claimed that her husband beat her then forced her into having sex with him.
The court ordered that her family must pay 250 $$ to the husband as compensation for dowry.
That literally makes me wanna puke.
